Cool end to May

Despite a peak of (for here) searing heat a week ago, the weather since then has been quite cool, and much of the lack of rain from the earlier part of the month has been made up, especially with a decent 15 mm yesterday. The last day of the month has been pretty well clear all day, but an easterly breeze has kept the temperature to a refreshingly cool sub-15 C.
