Cool trend continuing
Although there have been one or two warm days, June so far has been cooler than normal, with temperatures running more than a degree below normal. The air flow has been mainly from the north or east, which in the summer keeps temperatures down (north because it comes from the cold bits in the arctic, and east because it comes off the cold North Sea). Although we had a fair bit of rain over the last couple of days, rainfall is still fairly sparse and we could use a lot more.
