With more than 75 mm of rain this month (and judging by the dark clouds visible outside, possibly a bit more before the day and month are out in 12 hours), July 2010 has been a fair bit wetter than normal, although similar to last year. The temperature has been a bit cooler than average, so it looks like June's slight peek above the normal temperature was a blip.
On the limited amount of data from this station, the last few years have been noticeably cooler than the few years before them, which I can only welcome. Not that Scotland is known for heat waves anyway, but the cooler the better, especially in the summer.
