First snow of the winter

Nothing much of note, but the first flakes of snow in Monifieth were observed this afternoon. A very light dusting stayed on the ground for a few minutes. The forecast is for a fair bit more of the stuff over the next few days and the longer-term outlook is for December to start off colder than normal. Oh joy... Still it does put this global warming nonsense into perspective, since if we do get another cold winter that's the second in a row, and it continues a cooling trend that has lasted for most of the past 5 years here.
